Resolve to make a real difference this January
March 2, 2026This spring, Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity is partnering with the magnificent Waddesdon Manor to create a deeply moving Forever Flowers tribute. The Rose Garden at Waddesdon Manor, near Aylesbury, will be transformed by a striking temporary installation of 1,200 bespoke metal Sunset Roses. Each rose represents the life, love and cherished memories of someone special, creating a powerful and reflective space for remembrance.
Members of the community are invited to dedicate a Sunset Rose in honour of a loved one, whether to mark a recent loss or to celebrate a life that continues to be remembered. Those who make a dedication will be invited to a private viewing of the installation on Monday, 27th April, offering a peaceful opportunity to reflect while the grounds are closed to the public.
Following the private viewing, the display will be open to visitors for three weeks, allowing many to experience its beauty and meaning. Once the installation ends, each dedicated rose will be carefully cleaned and prepared for collection from the Charity’s offices in Aylesbury or High Wycombe, or from a selected Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity shop across Buckinghamshire.
By dedicating a Sunset Rose, participants will be helping Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity continue its vital work, providing compassionate hospice care and support to patients and families across Buckinghamshire and its borders.
To dedicate a Sunset Rose, visit https://fnhospice.org.uk/foreverflowers or make a dedication at any Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity shop across Buckinghamshire.
