Robin Hood and his Merry Men to the Rescue (at last)!

We are delighted to be putting on our popular Christmas pantomime, after a year when it could not be held – for reasons we all know!  Rehearsals for this year’s panto Babes in the Wood are well underway, as you can see from the pictures – oh, yes, they are!

It’s the story of two young children (the Babes), who are left abandoned deep in the forest by their wicked uncle and left to die, following the death of their father. The uncle thinks he will thereby inherit the fortune their father left them. But his plot is foiled when Robin Hood and his Merry Men rescue the Babes and they return to the castle with Maid Marion. The uncle is unmasked as the villain and the Babes get their rightful inheritance – oh, yes, they do!!

Babes in the Wood will include all the ingredients you’d expect in a Thame Players’ panto, with plenty of fun and jokes, music, singing and dancing for all the family. Booking is open from 25th October, so get your tickets today!
