Here at Chiltern View Magazines, we sincerely hope that this letter finds you safe and well and coping as best you can with these difficult circumstances.

For some time prior to the Prime Minister's announcement about lock down, we had been aware that it might not be safe to ask our distribution team to deliver the next issue of Chiltern View Magazine. The safety of our distributors and staff is paramount to us and we were already busy making other arrangements.

Having spoken to some of you over the last few days, we have been amazed by the support and loyalty shown and we want to do the best we can for you in this situation. We have therefore decided to make the May/June issue available online only and upload it to our website as soon as it is ready. There will be no charge to our advertisers for this and you will not receive an invoice for this issue. If you pay us by standing order and all your payments are up to date, then please cancel this and let us know that you have done so. We will ask you to restart once we are printing again. For those of you who have already paid for the May / June issue up front, thank you. This payment will be used as a credit against a future issue but do please get in touch if you have any questions about this.

Once the situation improves (we anticipate the next printed issue being Sept/Oct, but hopefully sooner), we will include your advert exactly as it would have been in the May/June issue. All of our bookings (except 'date sensitive ' bookings for events) will be carried forward. We imagine that this will suit many of you if your businesses have been affected negatively by the crisis and, when things return to normal, we will do all we can to give your business a marketing boost, be it in the magazine, by leaflet or social media. In the meantime, if you have any questions relating specifically to your current advert, do please get in touch.

We will endeavour to keep you informed and up to date with any local developments and will be active and engaging with our readers online, so please monitor our platforms. If you have a message that needs to be shared, tag us and/or send us details and we will see what we can do. If you are able (and technically minded enough!), then please feel free to share the online version of the magazine when it is published, highlighting the page number of your advert to your customers. We will of course be sending you a link for this.

We will still be here to answer any of your questions on 07500 048230 so please do not hesitate to contact us but, in the meantime, we wish you and your family the best in the coming weeks.

Stay safe and healthy,

Coralie, Jan and Steph
