Festival season is edging closer with the ever-lighter evenings– and we’re seriously looking forward to celebrating the longest day of all, the Summer Solstice, at Beacon Festival this summer!

Beacon Festival is Oxfordshire’s leading family-friendly festival set in the heart of the Chiltern Hills. Taking place 21-22 June on the idyllic Watlington Hill Farm Sanctuary, it’s the ultimate event for anyone looking for incredible music, delicious food, chilled vibes and stunning views.

This year’s festival sees six-piece folk rock band Rusty Shackle returning to Beacon for the Friday night headline spot, and Green Haze, one of the UK’s top Green Day tributes, taking to the Beacon Stage as Saturday’s headliners. Other artists on the festival’s 2024 line-up include Birmingham-based world rock band, Punch the Sky, and the hugely popular SkaSouls UK.

Our bars serving real ales, craft ciders and summery cocktails will keep dancers hydrated, whilst the on-site Sparkle Vegan Village will be Beacon Festival’s one-stop-shop for delicious plant-based street food, ethical festival gear, and artisan gifts created by local businesses.

As with every year, Beacon will continue to offer kids under 14 free entry to the festival. The popular Kids Zone offers a range of workshops and activities for children, whilst the Feel Good wellbeing area will relax and rejuvenate festival- goers. And if you want to make a weekend of it, the festival offers camping and glamping in the beautiful surroundings of the Chilterns.
