2025 – the year of must-see musicals!

The New Year sees a new UK Tour riding into Aylesbury Waterside Theatre from Tue 14 – Sat 18 Jan as Calamity Jane starring multi award-winning West End actress and singer Carrie Hope Fletcher whip cracks its way into town! The show will trailblaze the spring’s incredible line-up of spectacular musical.

Always a firm favourite for many a theatre lover, Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers tells the captivating tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on the opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences from Tue 28 Jan – Sat 1 Feb, then the critically-acclaimed Birdsong takes to the stage, based on Sebastian Faulks’s epic tale of love and loss set before and during the Great War. Once seen, never forgotten, the production is for one week only, Tue 11 – Sat 15 Feb.

A royal return from Six (Tue 20 – Sat 24 May) will see the wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales in an 80-minute celebration of 21stcentury girl power, and poised for its Waterside debut in the summer is Dear Evan Hansen, packed with some of the biggest musical theatre songs of the last decade.
