Shows for dance fanatics, music lovers and families are in the line-up this summer at the Waterside with something for everyone.

Well- known faces from Strictly Come Dancing come together on one stage in Viva La Divas in July. Janette Manrara, Nadiya Bychkova and Katya Jones bring you a brand‐new song and dance spectacular that celebrates what it is to be a diva with performances celebrating the greatest divas of all time including Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Beyonce.

David Walliams’ best-selling story Billionaire Boy is a must from 1 – 5 Jul. Telling the story of Joe Spud, the richest boy in the country, this production comes from the award-winning West End producers of Gangsta Granny.

Hang onto your hats, kids. A rocking ride is in store when Bob Harris & Danny Baker, two of the nation’s best broadcasters, share their great memories (in both senses of that phrase) having been back stage, front stage, at home and on the road with virtually every legend in the business. Make no mistake – rock and soul music really did have a golden age and here’s two storytellers who were there all along the way. They got beans. And they’re gonna spill ’em on 25 Jul!

If music be the food of love, play on! From a Celebration of Luther Vandross on 28 Jun to Totally Tina on 2 Aug and The Rolling Stones Story on 28 Aug, there are gigs aplenty to while away the summer evenings.
