Blue Cross | Animal Charity

While Blue Cross’s rehoming centres are closed during the Government lockdown, people who would like to help Blue Cross can make a donation direct to the charity but they can also sponsor one of the pets who are currently in the care of the charity.

People can sponsor any of the pets on the charity’s website. Three pets who are among those currently in the care of the team at Blue Cross in Lewknor are four-year-old lurcher Eric; nine year old cat Honey and rabbits Mia and Marley.

Being a sponsor means you will be giving vital funds to help Blue Cross care for homeless and unwanted pets until the charity can find them loving new homes.

As a charity, Blue Cross receives no Government funding and relies on its generous supporters to continue its vital work caring for pets.

By becoming a Blue Cross pet sponsor, you’ll receive an email which includes a certificate with a photo of your chosen pet and receive monthly updates on how your pet is getting on. You’ll also receive a welcome pack in the post. Once your pet is happily rehomed, you’ll be able to sponsor another who needs your help for as long as your direct debit continues.
