February 28, 2023Rennie Grove’s popular Daffodil Walk will return to West Wycombe Park on Sunday 12 March 2023.
The family day out includes something for everyone – from a leisurely stroll through the daffodils to children’s entertainment and guided tours of the historic 18th century landscaped parklands.
With exclusive access to the grounds of West Wycombe Park for the duration of the event, participants can enjoy the stunning displays of daffodils at their own pace and in whichever order they choose.
For the younger guests there will be a children’s treasure hunt, petting farm and face painting in the park.
The village hall in the historic West Wycombe village will also host live music, stalls and a tombola for those attending the day.
Hazel Bendon, Senior Community Fundraiser at Rennie Grove, says:
“We’re delighted to be bringing the Daffodil Walk back to the beautiful West Wycombe Park and village following the success of last year’s event. The grounds of the estate are transformed when the daffodils are in bloom and as the park doesn’t open to visitors until April, this is a unique opportunity to enjoy them at their best while taking a leisurely stroll through the historic gardens.
“Every penny raised through ticket sales and the fundraising activity at the village hall will be used to provide vital care for local people with life-limiting illnesses.”
Tickets for the daffodil walk cost £5 per adult and £3 for under-16s. Visit renniegrove.org/daffodilwalk to find out more.
