LONDON ON A BUDGET
September 1, 2026Life is busy and for many of us, our health can get pushed to the bottom of our never ending ‘to do’ list. However, good health doesn’t require perfection, lots of money or hours of spare time. It’s built on small, consistent choices and simple swaps.
Nutrition:
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. To make it simple and achievable try meal planning. Take half an hour each weekend to look at recipes, write a meal plan, stock the house and you’re ready for the week!
Movement:
You don’t need a gruelling gym session. Walking, gardening or simply taking the stairs counts. Move your body in ways that fit into your day and that you enjoy.
Stress:
Living in a constant state of tension is more common now we are always connected and ‘switched on’. Set boundaries to allow yourself to step away from it all sometimes – we cannot ‘do it all’ and shouldn’t try to.
Sleep:
Sleep underpins everything else: If we don’t sleep we crave unhealthy food, we don’t want to move our tired bodies and we feel stressed. Increase your sleep time by turning off screens at least 8 hours before your morning alarm is set.
Health in a busy modern world isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what matters, a little at a time.
