Princes Risborough Town Council

From Monday 15 June, a much broader range of retailers will reopen their doors in Princes Risborough, and in July it will be possible that other services and leisure businesses will follow.

Princes Risborough Town Council is working with retailers to prepare to re-open safely and abide by government Covid-19 social distancing and health and safety guidelines.

Councillor & Chairman, Matthew Walsh has made a short film to show some of the steps that should be taken to open safely and items of equipment and signage that are recommended for business use, including: hand sanitiser posts, PPE stands and waste disposal units, counter screens, barrier systems and door and window signage. https://vimeo.com/user115627754/review/427344595/ac2ee3a4c1

The Town Council is working with the Independent businesses in Princes Risborough to be able to provide vastly subsidised equipment to ease financial burden.

Meanwhile retailers are encouraged to be on the Risborough Basket platform, which is free to join! www.risboroughbasket.co.uk

The Town Council is also looking at options in the High Street to help with social distancing. These fantastic signs will soon be seen in/around the town, produced by the brilliant Ben Jennings, cartoonist & illustrator.
