He is excellent when handled, can be groomed easily, and enjoys meeting new people. He will need time to settle, but he is very sweet and friendly.
Max would like someone who can build up his leave time and of course a giant box of toys that he could throw across your room and play catch – just hide your slippers as we could imagine they would quickly make it into his box of toys too.
He is suitable to go with older children and gets on with other dog especially other Sighthounds. He has been very happy to run and play during his playdate so could potentially live with another dog of a medium size or/and bigger. However, he cannot live with smaller dogs or cats.
Like most ex-racers and having a high prey drive which has been bred, encouraged and trained to chase ‘small furries’ he will need to be muzzled and, on a lead, when out walking.
