Blue Cross – Animal Charity

Owning a pet is a fun and rewarding experience. But every animal and their needs are different, so how can you make sure that you choose the right one for you? If you’re thinking of taking on a new pet in 2021, these tips from Blue Cross are here to help…

  1. Do your research

  1. Think about your lifestyle

  1. Do your sums

  1. Think about a rescue pet or use a reputable breeder

Find your perfect match

Blue Cross is a national pet charity with rehoming centres and animal hospitals across the country helping tens of thousands of sick, injured and homeless cats, dogs, small animals and horses. The charity also has a pet bereavement support service to provide advice and help after the loss of a pet, and an education team which visits school to educate young people on responsible pet ownership and other issues.

As a charity Blue Cross receives no government funding and relies entirely on the generosity of its supporters to continue its vital work.

The team at the Blue Cross rehoming centre on London Road in Lewknor are dedicated to finding the right pet for you. For more information about Blue Cross, to make a donation or to get in touch visit www.bluecross.org.uk
