400g/1 tin chick peas
4 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
Juice of 2 lemons
Salt & black pepper
1 avocado – optional
1 cooked beetroot – optional
Add beetroot and/or an avocado
Try adding red pepper, chilli, herbs or other flavours
